I HAVE LIVED IN THE neighborhood of Yorkville on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for at least the last 20 years and hanve been hanging out here for almost twice as long.
But it wasn’t until recently that I started to realize that all the new and noteworty restaurants weren’t just opening up on the Upper West Side, the Lower East Side, or out in Brooklyn. There are plenty of gems to be expereinced and enjoyed right here in the seemingly homogenous area formerly monikered “Old German Town”.
I would like to take this section to relate to you the places that are, in my opinion, not to be missed if your looking for great PHUDE-y experiences in my neck of the woods.
